Kyoto International Manga and Anime Fair is West Japan’s largest manga and anime comprehensive trade fair. There is a booth commercial featuring new or popular work, here is also a talk event, live performance by voice actors and anime song singers. The event is also called “Kyo-maf”.

Try to Anime Character’s Diet
Here in Character Food Zone, you can enjoy foods and drinks featured in the manga or anime that could not be found elsewhere. Moreover, it is also use a resting area.
Unique Anime Experience at Kyoto
At the Official Goods corner, limited edition goods (original fans, wrapping clothes, blotting paper, etc.) from the collaboration of Kyoto long-established companies and the anime creator are sold. In the traditional craft experience corner, visitors can make their own original anime character illustrated beverage coaster. Here, visitors can experience the fusion of Kyoto’s tradition culture and the new anime culture.
Kyoto Okazaki Halle Stage
Kyoto Okazaki Halle Stage is held on the same days with Kyoto-mafu at Heian Shrine, which is near to Kyoto-mafu’s venue. The event feature many performances, projection mapping, etc.
Best time to go
Though the venue entrance time is from 9:00, but people start lining up since 7:00. Popular goods are usually sold out 30 minutes after the hall is opened (around 9:30); so if you have any particular goods that you really want, please come to early.

The waiting line is expected to be form from one to two hours before the hall is open. Since the waiting line is outdoor, so please take preventive measure against the heat and rain, as well as bring things that will help kill time.
